Judah Adashi’s Compositions Featured Reply

judah_adashi-1Faculty artist Judah Adashi (MM ’02, DMA ’11, Composition) will be featured on multiple upcoming concerts. A program of his music was performed on Saturday, November 4, at 7:30 pm, at York College of Pennsylvania in York, Pa. He will be featured as a performer, with Lavena Johanson (MM ’13, Cello) and Kenneth Osowski (DMA ’05, Piano). On Friday, November 10, at 7:30 pm, Adashi’s composition, Nina, will be performed at Scholes Street Studio in Brooklyn, N.Y. His composition, my heart comes undone, also appears on a recent CD release by Giacomo Fiore.

Scott Lee Receives Composition Award Reply

Scott LeeScott Lee (MM ‘ 13, Composition) is a recipient of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Foundation’s 2017 Morton Gould Young Composer Award. He was selected from over 500 entries this year. The ASCAP Foundation Young Composer Awards program grants cash prizes to concert music composers up to 30 years of age. This is the second time Lee has won the award. He won it in 2015 for his piece Bottom Heavy.
