Levine Chamber Music Competition Reply

Master of Music candidates Frances Borowsky, cello, and Joel Weszka (BM ’11, Clarinet), and junior Michael Delfin, piano and history, won first place in the professional division of the Levine Chamber Music Competition in Washington, D.C. As winners, they will perform on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, Wednesday, April 4, at 6:00 pm  and at the Bulgarian Embassy on Friday, April 13 at 7:00 pm, in an event organized by the Bulgarian Music Society of Washington.

Soprano Corinne Winters (MM ’07, Voice) has won the George London-Leonie Rysanek award. The award, granted by the George London Foundation, is one of six granted to the special talents chosen from a field of over 90 professional opera singers. The competition took place on Feb. 17 at the Morgan Library and Museum in New York.
