Peabody Students and Alumni Perform in Baltimore Reply

Ledah Finck (BM ’16, MM ‘18, Violin), Lavena Johanson (MM ’13, Cello), Julia Sheriff (BM ’12, Piano), Peabody student percussionists Brendan Betyn, Taylor Davis, Ben Mapes, and Robert Rocheteau, and the Bergamont Quartet, comprised of Finck and current Peabody students Sarah Thomas (BM ‘17, Violin); Amy Tan, viola; and Irène Han, cello; will be performing at An Die Musik in Baltimore, Md. in a concert of music by Gemma Peacocke. The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 7:00 pm and includes selections from Waves + Lines, Peacocke’s song cycle. The work’s debut recording comes out on New Amsterdam Records next week. This concert is presented as a part of the Evolution Contemporary Music Series, founded by faculty artist Judah Adashi (MM ’02, DMA ’11, Composition).
