John Wilson Featured Soloist with New World Symphony Reply

john7_1253John Wilson (BM ’10, MM ’12, GPD ’14, Piano) will be a featured soloist with the New World Symphony on Friday, September 30 at 7:30 pm. Mr. Wilson, a former student of Benjamin Pasternack and Marian Hahn, will perform Olivier Messiaen’s Oiseaux exotiques, with Michael Linville conducting. He recently performed the premiere of composer Timo Andres’ Tides and Currents for two pianos and percussion alongside the composer, and as keyboardist for the premiere of Michael Tilson Thomas’ Four Preludes on Playthings of the Wind.
