Nicholas Will Released Debut Recording “Laudato Si: In the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi” Reply

Nicholas WillNicholas Will (MM ’11, Organ) recently released his debut recording, Laudato Si:  In the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, a joint effort with composer Eli Tamar, soprano Charlene Canty, and countertenor Andrey Nemzer. The recording, available on iTunes and Amazon, is comprised of settings of texts by or attributed to St. Francis and his disciples. Movements of the Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, Dvořák, Haydn, Rossini, Poulenc, Scarlatti, Boccherini, and Vivaldi are complemented by three new settings of Franciscan texts by Pittsburgh composer Eli Tamar. The recording has received critical acclaim from Fanfare Magazine and the World Music Report.
